     Thank you for your interest in Foxfire Miniature American Shepherds, formerly known as Miniature Australian Shepherds. My name is Sharon and I am a small hobby breeder of these amazing dogs. I have relocated to a 25 acre farm in North Smithfield, Rhode Island, where the dogs have plenty of room to run and play! My dogs are my companions and live in the home with me, not in a kennel. I love to train and compete in multiple dog sports, and I'm always looking to try new activities. I have also entered the world of showing in Conformation!! I do not breed very often, but when I do I choose males of exceptional quality. My girls have champion bloodlines and they deserve the best mates! My focus as a breeder is on having pups with wonderful temperaments, sound structure, intelligence and outstanding athletic ability. I strive to produce pups that model true Aussie type. My puppies are raised in the home underfoot and get lots of attention, socialization and stimulation from my grandkids! I got my first Miniature Australian Shepherd back in 2006 and immediately fell in love with this breed. You will never find a more loyal, loving companion. They are brilliant and energetic, love children and adults alike, and love lots of mental stimulation and activity. They are the perfect breed for an active family!
